Named after the chief engineer of railways in Queensland Abram Fitzgibbon, Fitzgibbon is one of the smallest suburbs in Brisbane. Only subdivided in the 80’s and 90’s, the area is newly residential and is surrounded by the North Coast railway, Cabbage Tree Creek and Telegraph Road.
