Heathwood is 19 kilometres southwest of he Brisbane city. It is relatively small in size but marked by brand new grand homes. Heathwood is connected to Brisbane CBD by a number of routes including the Centenary Highway through Forest Lake, Ipswich Motorway through Oxley, Logan Motorway and by rail through Richlands. The western side of the suburb is marked by Oxley Creek. Pallara, the suburb of acreages, borders Heathwood along the North East, Forest Lake in the West, Doolandella in the North, Greenbank in the South and Forestdale in the South East. Interestingly, all the streets in Heathwood are named after native Australian flora, plants & trees.
